Well done to all the lads, Dave and Jubby this weekend. When a parent and player from the opposing team come up at the end of the game and congratulate you and say it was a great game, you know you did a good job. When the whole crowd cheer or applaud at the end of the final, you know you did a good job. When you overhear a comment from a player waiting to go on the pad after the semi say 'god, our game is going to be boring now', you know you did a good job. To sum it up GOOD JOB GUYS, WELL DONE TO ALL X

Well guys, what can i say. Back to back BISHA titles is something to very proud of. Your performances throughout the weekend were what Norton are all about. Total hockey as hockey should be played. The accolades that were awarded to you were summed up by the BISHA Officials at the presentation who described you guys as " a fantastic team from a fantastic club." Following on from the Youths success last weekend it would be out of this world if the Junior Seniors can match these lads efforts and i for one would cetrainly put money on them suprising one or two clubs down there. Many many thanks of course go to all our fans who were there even though the fog horns and drums sometimes made it hard to hear you. Great support folks and we certainly needed it against Wigan. Big thanks go to Ang as well for sorting the hotel out, Jubby for once again some fantastic coaching, Rob for dishing the b******ings out when they were needed and everyone for chipping in and helping out when needed. Start saving for Europe folks.

BIG BIG congrats to our Junior Ball team this weekend!!!!! What an achievement - National Champs 2 years in a row - getting to be a bit of a habit for our Ball teams at Norton. Everyone played fab all weekend and the Wigan Semi was such a nail biter some of us couldn't even watch! Big thanks to Dave and Jubby and congrats to Sarah and Rob for winning with the Youths last weekend.
Europe here we come!!!!
Good Luck to the youngsters (and Jase) in December - you never know it could be a hat trick!!!!

Congratulations to the Norton Cyclones Youth Team. Pity about the Southern Softies comment on your front page - seems a bit cheap / arrogant and a useful motivational tool for other coaches! We are a much newer club, just 3 years old. Sheffield is a tad bigger than Eastbourne, our nearest Icerink is 2 hours away in Guildford or Streatham, all our 11 registered Youth players were playing - which included 3 years 8s and 3 year 9's. For some it was there first experience playing on a rink - as we practice and play in school gyms - as there is nothing like virtual Ice around here. Yes you beat us beacuse you were better - but not beacause our Lads and lass are soft!

Well lads you did it back in 2005 as Peewees and now youve done it in 2008 as Youth Champs with almost the same team it just goes to show what a great bunch you all are...Thanks Rob for your help on the bench couldnt of done it without you. As a club Im hoping that this win will put not only me back on the right track as to taking Norton forward into 2009 but others as well and see that Norton Cyclones are here to stay for a few more years...! Right at this moment in time im proud to be part of it all x

What a fantastic effort by the Junior Cyclones U21's team today. Average age of 16 you certainly played hockey beyond your years. You were a pleasure to watch plenty of goals in all your games although the results didn't go your way you certainly made people aware that you aren't in it to make the numbers up.Good team spirit, excellent work rate and a desire to do well. You certainly did your club and yourselves proud. I think this was the challenge needed to take your game to the next level. Well done

I'm surprised at you Jilly G causing trouble, thats not like you at all. Sarah you are going to have to teach her how to behave oh and while your at it can you put Shaun back on his lead and keep him under control as well.
