Well done Junior/senior Cyclones, you did yourselves & the club proud with your performances in the BISHA Nationals. For such a young side you showed great maturity in your games & with a bit of luck & new glasses for some officials, could have finished higher. Thanks to Shaun & Sarah for their belief & conviction to let these lads progress & perform at the highest level. Both in France & the Nationals they played very well & it was a great learning experience for the guys & they can only improve with age.

I have to say that it was very good performance by everyone concerned. Even though the results didnt go our way, you have to remember that our team was made up of mainly 16and 18 year olds playing against true seniors with their full quotas of foreign "guest" players.
For those of you who dont quite understand the sexual tension between 2 people, heres a bit of clue for you.
Will the Norton Nymph "finish" off the Hornets or will the Horny Hornet "cane" the Cyclones.
By the way Mrs F, looking at your spelling it seems you had too much of the Great Britain spirit, or as you call it Tia Maria and coke

So what is there to say about our weekend in France.....Team Spirit the Norton way....well out of our depth at times with our such young team but you all gave 110%.....The fun was none stop from getting on the bus on thursdays night to getting off on monday....you would of never of known we were two such rival teams....so could this be the begining so somthing new very much dought it but for once it was nice to see Great Britan Team Spirit!!!!!and as for the sexual tension between too certain people im still wetting myself over that one...with the Snr Ball Nationals coming up this weekend think that tension will be building up........

I would like to say a BIG well done to the younger under 18s team today. A 6-0 defeat against Graves which was not a true reflection of your performances. A 5-4 victory over Peterlee, which you deserved. How nice no whinging, no backchat (bit difficult with 6 outfield player, one of which was a netminder)no penalties taken, plenty of heart, determination and everyone smiling and enjoying it. Fantastic contribution by you all. You were a credit to your parents and the club

Well done to both the youth and junior ball teams on your recent fabulous achievements and also good luck to the junior seniors when they go for the triple in a just over a weeks time. For all spectators going down to the Senior Nationals, a word of advice, take the biggest drum, the loudest horn as those fans of Street Warriors sure make some noise! Also good luck to the team that's off to France, hope you manage to get Gregg out of his bed before 4pm as that seems to be the time he likes to get up at at the moment.

And good luck to all the lads going to France. Thanks for helping me keep Sarah sane. Im sure that if we could leave the pot noodles and tuna at home we will have a brill time. In fact all those going to France that do not want to take pot noodles and tuna please raise your hands now.
